"Rosetta has a gentle yet encouraging approach to her yoga teaching. She is very respectful of where people are at in their practice and gives them the tools to improve and ultimately surprise themselves on what they can achieve!" -- Shelby French

With the exception of the 30-minute introductory session, all of the above rates include customized at-home practice sequences, which are updated and revised as necessary, determined by the student's progress and individual goals. You'll also receive practical techniques for fitting yoga into spare moments in your day, and suggestions for easily incorporating what you're learning into everyday life.
For more information, or for a quotation based on travel to your location, please contact Rosetta. Here's more of what students have to say about the experience.
And, here's a series of links that I like to
share with private students:
A
great blog post about the benefits
of performing the sun salutation C series. Succinct and enlightening for
the beginner to yoga.
For those who are asking, What is a sun salutation?, here's a brief video that gives the basics with modifications for students with differing levels of flexibility.

Yoga as Medicine by Timothy McCall, MD at Googlebooks to read at no cost online. Type in "stress relief," for example, and gain access to many (but not all) pages of this incredible book. Highly recommended.
One-minute
relaxation timer. The settings below will give you a "round length"
of 1 minute (which will be your rest period) followed by a "rest length"
of 1 hour (your actual work hour), repeating continuously until you pause
or reset. A great tool to see how challenging it can be to give yourself
60 seconds per hour to practice breathing, stretching, or relaxation in
the midst of your day. You can name and save your settings so that they will
be there when you open the page the next day. Set
this
online interval timer in the following way:
Round length: 1 minute
Rest length: 1 hour
Round begin/end sound: gong
So, during your relaxation-timer yoga moments, here are some fantastic yoga-at-your-desk ideas from yoga superstar Sadie Nardini. Tension release, mood elevation, and attitude adjustment :) .
Nice 3-minute yoga for stiff back and neck video sequence from yoga-lebrity Tara Stiles. (Not for absolute beginners, but private students who have been with me for a couple of months, give it a try!)
More great yoga at your desk with a free 15-day program from Yoga Journal.
Learning to become your own "body whisperer." Very interesting blog post from yogini Nona Jordan -- especially thought-provoking for those of you who are already students of yoga.
And,
the New York Times reports on health
benefits of yoga, highlighting quick relief from the pain of rotator
cuff injuries, and slowing the progression of osteoporosis.
"Rosetta listened carefully to my issues and concerns, and designed a thoughful and insightful yoga practice just for me. She found some very clever ways to use my body's strengths to approach my personal challenges." -- Sarah Becan
